Well, after a few years of non FFRR ownership I’m coming back.

Nice to experience it. Even the HSE spec didn’t feel that special and a few things annoyed me; Seats not adjustable enough, very flat Stereo absolutely terrible Terrible headlights at night The boot space is small For such a highly tested car it arrived brand new with trim loose, parts faulty Gearbox shift issues couldn’t be fixed So, I sold it back to another dealer and made 20% profit. By way of cleaning up this thread, here’s a photo of the new one. Hasn’t been clean since the day I collected it but it is a lovely vehicle to drive.

This might be the first one I’ve had where I have no plans. In the past I’ve always added mud flaps (then found them to be mostly pointless), seat covers (turns out we’re not that messy), All Terrain tyres (my mate in his D5 on 22” std tyres went everywhere I did with no issues), roof rails for the roof box and a dog guard so I can pack lots in the boot. Unless we do a driving holiday again to Scotland etc perhaps the only thing I’d need to add is roof rails. I fitted them to my new Defender so can easily sort that. I think I’ll just drive this!
