Ok, so having a look at mine, could someone please explain how the Generator command and load work? When reading codes the command seems to be higher than the load.

Simply put, the generator output is vehicle load+battery charge demand. There is a diagnostic chart on Topix that shows commanded generator output and the expected voltage range for that output, which may help.

Oh, well maybe read up the 'description & operation' section relating to charging in the workshop manual. It's quite comprehensive.
