The bluetooth connection would be lost after using the (IOS 15) phone on mine so bought the Invery version and it's now trouble free.

Interesting, your issue sounds like it’s the opposite, mine just refuses to play until I use the phone. I’ll look at the invery version though, thanks for the suggestion |

Or… if anyone has any recommended installers for getting CarPlay fitted in the uk I might consider going the whole hog.

Interestingly this has been happening in my Cooper S since I updated iOS. As soon as I make a phone call the music starts to play on CarPlay.

Since I got an iPhone to replace my android ( buyers regret) I’ve had issues with it for car use. Auto play can’t be disabled so as soon as it connects to the Bluetooth streamer ( Bovee or Invery) it starts to play the first track in your music library and if you stop or pause the track it starts again. My ‘solution’ is to make a silent track 10mins long and call it AAA so at least it’s not audiable. When connected to the car via Bluetooth there is no auto lock disable unlike Android so you either have to manually disable screen lock, have the phone near enough to engage face recognition or tap in your code none of which are convenient or safe while driving. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Problem solved, went full on in the end and went down the idcore route. Significantly more investment than a new bovee but significantly more benefit for the money.
