How is it over 3 ton? It’s about 400kg lighter than an L322 and the L322 isn’t 3 ton…..

I have had a quick search on tinterweb and it does seem to be a common occurrence. The computer systems that are used for MOT’s look at something called “Revenue Weight” For my car my Revenue Weight ( which is the same as GVW ) is 3160 Kg. So by all accounts it has to be a class 7 MOT. Class 4 is the most common for cars and such but up to GVW of 3000 Kg. For individuals it can be found on V5, a marker plate on the car or just put reg in search engine for GVW. I wonder if this is now another money making scheme for the Govt 19MY SVA-Dynamic Spectral Chromoflair Blue but colour not available in profile 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue - Gone 2010 RRS 5.0 Supercharged Navara Bronze - Gone 2008 RRS 4.2 Supercharged Black - Gone 2006 RRS 2.7 Diesel Rimini Red- Gone |

Just done some research, it’s not classed as a commercial vehicle, it’s a passenger car, so it’s Class 4. Class 7 is for commercial/goods vehicles only.
