This may just be a coincidence, but after my car had sat unused for three months, mine did the same, I could not find any water in the car, but the car was slightly 'damp' inside. Used a heater to warm up the car for a few hours and bingo, back to normal. As the car 'dried out' the screen went from frozen, to intermittent, then back to normal. I have now put bags of desiccant in several areas including the enclosed electrical sections.
