Hi all,

Was out today and it was throwing it down. Stopped in traffic and watched everyone going through a large puddle slowly.
I only ever tried the wade sensor feature in summer with no water and was looking like all ok.
When I tried it today, it said I was too deep, over the limit before I even started.
I wiped the mirror sensors in a car park, still the same. Alarm going off and red alert saying water to deep.
Any ideas?

Thankfully, this is normal. Wade sensing does not work in the rain (not sure when it ever really works). Why would it? In reality, a long stick and ‘walking the course’ is what you need but it only cost me £230 or something so I’ll get over my speccing error. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Mine works fine and always has...

The sensors in the mirrors are simply parking sensors repurposed... Should work placing any object beneath them to check them...

Had parking sensors have a fit in rain too lol will try them again now the rain has eased, see if they are ok then place hands in the way etc lol

Why use wade sensing unless you are wading? The answer is to check if your £230 was well spent. On the times I have checked it has not been well spent.
