Doesn’t your cap have the thin extension that allows it to sit in the hole in the fuel filler door? Ron B. VK2OTC

Yes, it does have the spike but it also has a rubber tether, just in case I drop it. |

Bought several of those now, be warned they come from China and the rubber hardens up and breaks within a year.. At that price it doesn't matter much though... Pete

I got fed up with replacing them, so went for a cheap DIY permanent fix.
