Workshop manual craziness (alternator related)

I suspect that my quiet whine which is engine related (only just started doing this) is the alternator. (4.2 supercharged)

Please correct me if you think it isnt Thumbs Up

Looked in the workshop manual, and it basically says "remove the alternator, refit new alternator!

https://workshop-manuals.com/landrover/ran...page_5301/

Well that doesnt help me much if i do change it, so is there anywhere else that has better instructions?

Thanks all

It looks to be sufficiently explained - the graphics show both connectors and the three bolts, along with the torques required. I don't think there's a lot else to say about it really!.

If you search YouTube, there are multiple videos on how to change the alternator on this engine. They're of the L320, but the engine is the same. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
