So looks like we are all going to be forced down the 5% more ethanol 5% less range route of E10 (seems like a scam to me ?!?)

Anyway Reading into it it says its a lot harsher on components than what we currently have.

Now, being that the 4.2 supercharged and 4.. AJ engines are good workhorses except when an log conversion is done badly - what's the likelihood of this causing problems to said engines? Current stable:

I think they run 10% ethanol in 95% of petrol sold in the USA, so again the answer is the same, no issue...

Esso E5 contains no ethanol at all in most of the country, tells you on their website where it does have ethanol in it

When my SC was on LPG the only petrol that got put in the tank was E5. Now the LPG has been removed I still only put E5 in it.

Ethanol has a lower calorific value then petrol so when you use E10 you'll use more of it. Granted, it's probably not that much but you'll still need more. Using E5 will reduce this slightly as there's less Ethanol in it.

Any petrol car I've got these days, including lawn mowers, strimmers, chainsaws, quad bikes, etc. all get E5 in them now.

Although, for the non car stuff I've been looking at buying drums of storage petrol as that's entirely Ethanol free.
