United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

You shouldnt really put the support on the top of the wings, those lips aren't really strong enough for it IMO but across the strut tops would be best if it can be supported from that far back which should be possible with it being attached to the driveline anyway Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Living close to the Cairngorms, I've never had an issue with front subframe. Maybe this does a bit more than just protect the sump..... Whistle

Hi Ergo

I've had this sump guard for about a decade and it was originally fitted to my 3.6 Vogue. I received it from a friend in Solihull for a considerable sum of £ and I was told (at the time) that it was a prototype for the 4.4. It fitted my 3.6, so I was perfectly happy with it, but there was always the idea that it wasn't fully designed for that car. Only when I got my 4.4 last year did I discover how neat it should have been - like Cinderella's shoe!

This was the guard some years ago on the 3.6.

In short, I don't think it's something which can be bought these days. And yes, it's about 8mm thick and covers all the important stuff underneath, so it's very strudy. I can happily jack up the whole front of the car in seconds using a trolley in the middle of the plate. The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

That was originally made by Mantec, as was the underbody protection for the L319/320's, it would have gone into production if the G4 events hadn't been cancelled.
I know they were cancelled well before the 4.4TDV8 was released but these things are planned well in advance.
