Automotive carpet?

So I’m running a second diy refurb project of my 7 seat unit I think it’s the logic unit that folds out the car.

Anyway the hinges were all seized it didn’t unfold the rust has bled throught the carpet so I’ve stripped it sanded all the rust off sprayed with an inhibitor and washed the carpet in the washing machine and soaking in vanish for two days but the rust will not budge.

So now I’m trying to get some automotive carpet but all I can find is really deep pile - no good I need to be about 2mm, or felt stuff which will be rubbish with the dog in the boot.

Any ideas where I could get some? Current stable:
2006 BMW M6
2007 4.2 V8 S/C FF
Gone:
2002 4.4 V8 FF

Have you considered 4 way stretch carpet? Used extensively in camper van wall linings.
Plenty on eBay to have a look at and possibly even obtain a sample.

Definitely not felt based, 100% polypropylene.Would be worth getting a sample. Unfortunately l don’t have any bits lying around.
