Heated steering heated upgrade: is it possible?

Good morning everyone,
My 2012 Vogue 4.4 does not have a heated steering gear and on the steering wheel controls instead of the button with the specific symbol it has a writing "nav": pressing the navigator repeats the last message.
Yesterday I disassembled the airbag and found this surprise...

It seems that the steering wheel has the resistance, the activation control unit housed under the airbag.
It seems that only the activation button is missing which, from what I understand, should be connected to the purple connector.
Can anyone confirm what I think? Would it be enough to put a purple pin and bring the wire to the controls?
Thanks to those who will help me

In the second image you can see a slot, the one above the blue connector, free that does not contain the "teeth" x the contacts: on the bottom, however, you can see the electronic board of the steering wheel control which has 3 contacts you want.
Is that where the 3 wires of the purple connector go? Is it possible in your opinion to weld? If so what is the order of the cables coming from the purple connector?
