Hi guys I have seen a few topics online relating to being able to raise and lower the cars suspension form outside vehicle using the key is this correct as I have tried but nothing is happening!

To change the suspension height using the Smart Key, the vehicle must be stationary, all the doors closed and the hazard warning lamps switched on.

To raise the vehicle, press and hold the Approach lamps button (1) and the unlock button (2) together.
To lower the vehicle, press and hold the Approach lamps button (1) and tailgate unlock button (3) together.

Note: If there is no height movement after pressing the buttons for 10 seconds or more, or if unexpected behaviour occurs, press the Approach lamps button (1) twice and restart the procedure.
Note: If the starting height is above or below normal height, movement will stop when normal height is reached. Release the Smart Key buttons and press again to continue.

Cheers for this bit strange hazards have to be on first would be a much better function if this wasn't the case being able to lower the car for better access without having to put hazards makes no sense as you have to open the car first put hazards on then lower from the key

It's purely designed for attaching and removing trailers, they have made it so it's not easy to accidentally lower it onto someone/thing...

For others info the later 322's do it also....  Pete

I have used it a few times for the tin tent - it's pretty cool but I agree having to put the hazards on is a daft pain in the rear FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

I use it for unhitching, enables you to leave the front of the trailer nice and high i.e raise suspension then unhitch by lowering the car while holding up the hitch handle
