I’d keep pushing with the tyre chap, purely to keep them on their toes. Their bloody mindless attitude needs checked. Good job they don’t work in aviation. visiting from www.rrsport.co.uk

I had a front tyre replaced on Monday after it was ruined by hitting a pothole. I told the tyre fitter 1 wanted 35psi (a tad higher than normal as I was about to leave on a 300+km trip.
As soon as I left the tyre service, I checked the pressure -yep, high. 45psi.

I’d ooly just checked my wife’s Subaru Forester front tyre after a puncture and it was 50psi!

I'd check your tyre pressure gauge against a few others as they do vary with regards to accuracy. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

I don’t know where I got it from maybe a hangover from my L322 days I always torque my wheel nuts to 160 so I must have got that from somewhere but a quick look in the book does indeed say 133 so I’ll have to go round and re torque, as for what order I always used one diagonal then the other so that’s OK the book on that is Censored as it really depends on where the wheels come to rest when parked. Geoff

On five stud wheels, you just 'leap frog' around the nuts when torquing them up - it doesn't matter where you start.
i.e. if the one you start at is No.1 and they are numbered sequentially in a clockwise direction, it's 1-3-5-2-4
