Has the plastic split ( material failure) or is it a seam that joins 2 parts (adhesive)? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

on mine it was a crack along the side of the manifold. |

I agree that such an attempt would be futile. Hopefully the revised manifolds have been strengthened adequately although the V6 manifolds have been revised around 10 times (I'm not bothered to chase through all the part numbers again) but at least I've seen substantial improvements in the V6 manifolds such as bracing and extra thickness trying to overcome the cracking. |

Class actions are rarely successful. You also need to be acutely aware that if unsuccessful, you can be subject to a counter-claim to recover their legal costs.
