Low ash/SAPS oil is only required for the cars with a DPF. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Aaah. I didn't realise the 3.6 didn't have a DPF. Didn't want the OP putting wrong oil in.

I've put the wrong oil in mine but the oil correct oil is 'Low' ash not 'No' ash and over the life of the car a few 1000 miles won't have done much harm especially as I'm not blowing much through the DPF as I never use the 2nd turbo 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

A basic oil question, for the 4.2 Supercharged I would like to carry a few liters in the car to top up occasionally.

Which oil is the correct one?
