Wiring is guilty of breaking just at the top of the electrical connector |

Rear cable damage is not too common.

Yes, that wiring and connector poking out of the top of the damper.

Thanks Graeme, looks like I need to strip the trim out & check under trim where you suggest.

Bit of digging & trim removal discovered the fault, both wires had broken right near the connector.

Yes had a spare loom & tried it before wiring it in.

I have the exact same issue on right rear! though i have just inspected the cable and it looks good? granted you cannot see much of it. I think i will order the repair cable and strip out the rear and replace as much as i can. is it possible it is just the plug is faulty?
