United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Sumatra Black
New 5.0 Supercharged owner

Hello all,
Last week I took delivery of a 2009 5.0 Supercharged, so I'm guessing one of the earliest. It's my first foray into Range Rover ownership and I wish I'd started earlier!
The only issues I have is the PDC doesn't work at all. No beeps or lights, the button doesn't work and no clicking coming from the sensors, so a new module is on order.
Secondly, and a bit more worrying is a disconcerting screech/wail on medium acceleration that I think I have isolated to second gear by some investigation in manual mode. I was planning a gearbox oil change anyway but as it seems isolated to one gear I suspect it may be more serious. Am I likely to have any recourse by going back to the trader bearing in mind it hasn't actually failed?

Congrats, they are great vehicles... Has the PDC been turned off, IIRC you can turn it off in the CCF, you need a Gap IID or similar diagnostic tool to check, or get a garage to...

If you bought it from a garage then yes, take it back to them for both issues... Pete

Thanks for the advice. I don't have a GAP tool currently, but looks like a decent investment so will look to get one. I'll get in touch with the garage and see how amenable or not they may be.
