My heater blower has started whistling and Hager’s worse and more annoying the faster it goes…

Any ideas if this is common or where to start?

Mine sometimes does that every so often, usually I just turn up the blower speed and then back down again and it’s stops.

Mine has been doing that. I used to just increase the speed and then slow it down again, usually enough to shut it up. I have since changed the final stage resistor as it stopped working one day. Its been silent ever since.

On a side note, I have a feeling its just coincidental in my case and it may well be leading to replacing the blower unit bearings, a big job by all accounts although there are some work arounds on here and YouTube.
