Apple Car Play....phone or car?

After 15 months of faultless "behaviour", Apple Car Play will not load in my 2021 car.

The question is, is it the phone (iPhone XR) at fault after the latest update, or is it a dealer visit to get the Incontrol checked out? Hope it's not the latter 'cos I had horrendous problems with my last car misbehaving Whistle Censored

Anyone else had similar experiences in the passed couple of months? All LR cars from 1984

Hi Stan

The phone connects because it charges, but there's no ACP (music, Waze etc) All LR cars from 1984

Thanks Stan...

Of course, typically, I have just driven the car this morning and all is perfect again!!

I sometimes wonder if the marketing of top brands (iPhone's, FFRR's etc) is one big con, and we should be buying a Hyundai for example, in which ACP (and everything else) works perfectly no doubt!! Whistle Whistle All LR cars from 1984

The problems returned. but I now know it was the lead from phone to USB. For the passed 18 months I have used a non-generic iPhone cable but it appears it had given up the ghost. Whistle

Swapped it with a "proper" iPhone cable and all is perfect!!! All LR cars from 1984
