When you say needs a good checking over, is that just in general for an l322? |

Bought my L322** from them with a brand new MOT - no advisories & when next MOT due it failed with serious corrosion underneath - did not seem possible for tin worm to progress that extensively in only 12 months - just saying...........

MOT history isn’t bad neither is the price really. Being a LR ‘specialist’ he should know it’s not Stornaway grey but Orkney grey…….says he trying very hard to be a smart arse. 🤣 Stornaway was the 3.6 tdv8 colour? Egg on face if I’m wrong.

There are three RR’s for sale on here as well. These are generally very well looked after machines. The one you’ll be looking at, at that mileage I would expect the oil cooler to have been replaced, along with the starter motor & possibly the alternator. 100k miles is the rough area these need replacing. Receipts would be handy 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice! Having said that, the one being advertised looks more like Orkney than it does Stornoway. Stornoway is a greener tint. Drives: 2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue - Stornoway Grey 2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue SE - Zermatt Silver 1998 BMW E36 M3 GTII |

I would agree with you. I've got an SG Sport and it's darker than that shown. Also the dealer has a Stornoway Grey 2010 FF listed too (next advert to the Westminster on his website) and you can clearly see the difference! Last edited by Seatown on 31st Aug 2022 9:06am. Edited 2 times in total |

Looking at the pictures I think you're correct. There seems to be signs of rust inside both rear arches so definitely something to be checking when looking the car over. It might even be worth asking the dealer to send some close-ups before trekking along for a viewing. These photos are crops from the dealers set shown and I think you can see rust starting inside both arches. |
