2008 vogue headlight lens

Hi all

Other than the stick-it-in-the-oven routine, is there an easy way to remove just the lens from the headlight units? Tym

If it sticks, force it. If it breaks, it needs replacing anyway.

You could try using a hot air gun gently & see if it releases from the backing.

That said, I’d probably melt this unit! Tym

Hairdryer so that you don't melt it, plus a fresh blade on a Stanley knife, plus a plastic trim removal tool. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

I was contemplating that actually Gary. Think I’ll make a day of it when the new SVA style grilles come. Got led indicators and side lights to fit and want to dismantle the headlights to put angel eyes in plus maybe auxiliary dynamic indicators. Should be able to do it all in one go then… Tym

LED sidelight and indicator bulbs will bring up a Canbus error so, not worth bothering (I tried on my 2006).

Side indicators will not because they're not Canbus monitored I believe.

Maybe try and fit the 2010-2012 style lights to the car? They have the fairy lights and won't look a bit "Halfords", because they'll be in-keeping with the facelift?

These are sold as error free so I'll see how they go.

If they produce errors - they go back! Tym
