EPB-Electronic parking brake (poor operation)

When applying the epb whilst in Drive sometimes the car isn't held, requiring another pull on the epb lever.
Is this normal or do i need the spanners out? Ian

Well mine was doing that. Removed rear discs, cleaned it all out and re-assembled. Also the adjustment was a long way out, probably due to wear on the shoes so it could have been just bad adjustment. All good now though.

Yep, done from an inspection plug. Download a copy of Bodsy's Brake Bible. Ostensibly the same although done based on a D3.
