Did a search but couldn't quite find I what I was looking for. I am considering to buy either a Td6 or a TDV8. Can anyone provide me with a cost for the regular servicing? I live in London so if you know any good independents, please let me know. Paul

- oil service £300 with vat
-ins 1 £350 with vat
-ins 2 £550 with vat

all prices are rough and give or take £20 but it gives you an idea and these are for a td6  onto no6 Range Rover

Does that include parts and labour? Just having a sense of deja vu with a certain Volvo (current car) dealer who makes it up as they go along, so no one service cost the same amount (vastly different) despite the same work being carried out. Paul

For anyone's interest I just booked mine in for an Oil Service at my local dealer and got them down to £280 inc VAT without too much trouble.

When I rang around the quotes were starting at £400  Discovery 4 HSE

hi guys

mines coming up to 36000 service and been quoted over £500 + for a service 1 from gordon lamb landrover dealer. few questions

1. should I go independent for cheaper any risks in doing this?
2. is having a LR dealer stamp in the book a must ?
3. ne 1 know any good dealers/independents in yorkshire/derbyshire area?
