My iPhone connects 99% of the time without issue, so it may be a phone problem. Try deleting the pairing fom the phone and then repairing to see if that helps, also check you have the latest software updates running on your phone.

chesh, its a known problem that if you switch of the BT on your phone after leaving the range ,when you come back you will have to pair up again...i believe a software update from the dealer solves this but they do charge for this... |

My desire does the very same thing. I think it's to do with the phone and not the car. It's stays paired but every time you will have to enter the code to connect to the car. Never had this problem with my phone before the htc (blackberry bold). cheers Ex FFRR 4.2 Supercharged www.thecarpetfitter.co.uk |

Well, it sounds like a phone issue, I thought it was only the i phones that had bluetooth issues, I will get intouch with HTC and see if they can throw some light on the matter and if I get it sorted I will post it. Thanks for your replies, Its a great site with lots of helpful people.

Had the same issue with my Samsung Omnia7. Software update fixed it and enabled phonebook access too. Thankfully I got the dealer to do this before parting with cash for the car so it was free.... |
