Also, I was also thinking I could only afford the infotainment of the 2022 version but could get both with 2016 for roughly same price.

Heart leans 2022 but head should say change both but can’t have the 2022 infotainment

First world problems I know….

I would just go with main screen and leave the lower as original, thats just my opinion

Does anyone know if it is possible to put one of the slimmer cd/dvd players from the 2018 + in the glove box of a 2015 if the slot is covered up. Thanks

Just ordered the Poseidon unit, with the heating screen also. Will advise what its like once installed.

Did you get it and what's it like

I installed the new upper and lower Poseidon screens in my '14 AB L405 , have had them in for approx. a month and haven't looked back.
As with any change getting used to the new way took a little time and I do have a couple of config questions for Poseidon but overall I am completely happy with my purchase.

The addition of Carplay for me has changed my life! I have even got used to full touch screen and haven't found glare an issue.
Anyone who can be bothered to drive to Wiltshire who is thinking of converting are welcome to come and see mine.

My recently acquired MY15 L405 already had the range rover world Android 11.0 unit fitted, which provides Car Play, Google Maps etc. but also retains the original LR interface (via soft buttons each side) which works perfectly.

Some reports suggest start up time is slow but mine fires up pretty much instantly, perhaps later versions resolved this.

I decided to add the Poseidon AC panel to complement it, again it looks & performs perfectly.

Personally happy with both units, esp. as I didn’t have to buy the main unit!

Which size did you get

Did you ever get around to taking those pics? i'm still on the fence over the Poseidon upgrade to the 12.3 so keen for reviews from people that do have it.
