What a mess...... Personally, I've put this car to the back of my mind now.

I think I might have persevered in the meantime with a lemon rather than go back to the back of a very long queue without any dates for a replacement.

My last Range Rover was that colour and I liked it but didn't love it. It helped that it was a bargain so I learnt to like it.

Fear not, you are not alone. My car is Lantau Bronze with Carraway. No shadow packs/different wheels etc. I saw it in the flesh the other day and it looks great. |

I think he’s negotiated keeping it until the new one is built. Albeit there’s bits on it that cannot be fixed. A Golf will indeed be tight for 5 people and whilst not a FFRR…not a bad car in any sense! |

It's a great car but for a holiday 5 up a FFRR would have been perfect. |

Thank you for this. The problems seem to extend way beyond just "chip shortages". Feels like the car will be approaching its mid-life facelift before many people can take delivery. I've been very frustrated with the wait, compounded by the fact that I've had some problems with my L405 which I had hoped to have part exchanged for the L460 by now. How long do we think Land Rover as a business can withstand this disruption? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB |

In terms of sales, they have a fantastic product, so customers will continue to buy.

Just as I read your post aja500, I got a call to say that the price of the Range Rover I've ordered has increased by £9k! Quite a jump, although I'm not sure if it's certain options that have increased, or the base price of the car.

£9k - YIKES, that's quite a leap. What model / options have you spec'd?

Price rises 1st of July have been kept quiet. Having collected on Friday price was as i had expected and per configurator, albeit that did include the c.5k increase from earlier in the year after launch. I would have been monumentally vocal if they had tried this on me, but of course i suspect that would have been wasted angst given they could sell a physical car many times over if i voted with my feet. I’m sure there are more savvy legal people on this forum as to the contractual ins and outs of this.

My order is for a P510e AB with about £10k of options - the largest of which is the RSE (at close to £4k from memory). The total price at the time of my order came to £137k.
