France 2003 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue
At long last

After months of searching for an FFRR I finally got this one. I've been to Germany, only to have the gearbox blow up after 25km so that went back, been searching all of Europe (wanted an LHD) but mainly overpriced high milers. So called a friend who works for LR and they'd just taken this in PX. It's a 2003 Vogue Td6 with 17k on it, just had new discs and pads all around, and had every service regardless of mileage Thumbs Up . The previous owner spent most of his time abroad for which he has another LHD FFRR.

Already had the trailer and digger behind it, tows very well, been though the forest tracks - no problems but I think the side steps and mud flaps will have to go before they get ripped off, much to her annoyance as she's not that tall, and maybe a tire change. Any recommendations for a good all around tire welcomed, been looking at General AT2, always used BF Goodrich ATs before, it's on 18" rims for the moment.

On the trip from UK to France the computer said we were getting 29mpg, we'll see how long that lasts.

All in all very pleased, a few mods I'd like to do, digital TV, iPod connectivity, but will have to make sure I don't invalidate the warranty.

So I've ended up with this - hope the links work to the photos, not something I've done before.

Hows the interior holding on your 03 mate? Still clean and tidy or does it require some TLC?

The interior is like new, the rear and passenger seats have hardly been used. Will have to get a drivers seat cover for the dirty days though.

rear bumper is usually ok - couple extra holes through the rim, but not visible, its the panels by the front doors that have 2 extra holes drilled in them Confused

Close to the mileage on the car, with 12 month Land Rover warranty and road side assistance and they gave it a full service before it left the garage Smile

what a cracking loking car!! great find!!

as far as tyres go, i have used A/T 2'S on all my previous L/R's and they were superb!! for an all terrain tyre they are very quiet, handle well on the road and last for ever!!

i will be buying some for my FFRR when the current wranglers run out of steam. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
