Don't think about selling it when you are in ear shot, they just keep going wrong when they hear you are going to sell... Pete

The polymer 'cable' that the MOST uses would be more susceptible to heat than the copper wiring, it does sound like heat damage given the only thing that has changed is the welding to the body. To coin a phrase, if you hear hooves, think Horses, not Zebras. The most likely explanation (heat damage) is the most likely cause. Get yourself a MOST test loop from fleabay and connect each module's MOST with it, if everything comes back to life - then the module currently bypassed has an issue, if not, then it's the polymer fibre 'wiring' at fault. |

You need to go to each module in turn, disconnect the MOST and connect your test adaptor to the cable, the radio tuner is behind the glove box so I'd leave that until last and start with the stuff in the NSR, there's no need to disconnect the screen as you know that is working... Have you been able to get any DTC's from the vehicle? |

I dont have a code reader yet, if I decide to keep it I will invest in one, that was my plan anyway.

It's a sign that the downstream module is communicating - the whole 'daisy chain' needs to be intact otherwise you get nothing.

It was the Bluetooth module, I did the pen and tape and it came straight on.

It works with most phones - mine is a OnePlus 9 and it works as expected. Worth checking the tailgate seal for water ingress, the Bluetooth module is usually the first one to suffer. |
