Front electric seats stopped working.

Hey guys more seat problems. The front seats have just stopped working for no reason. I've checked all the fuses, battery reset etc etc to no avail. Yet the lumber support buttons all work, just can't move seats forward and back or the headrests and back rests. Also the electric steering column adjuster not working either so i presume they are all interconnected.
Ideally I'm hoping it's an easy fix as we are going to the Highlands in it in a few weeks time and missus is going to be driving it too when i get her insured on it. But me being 6ft 2" with seat right back and back rest far back she can't reach the steering wheel and barely touched the pedals. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked all the plugs under the seat? If it's not a loose plug I think you may find the seat ecu has expired.

Check the fuses first.

If it is the seat ECU, don't worry, there's normally plenty on ebay for about £40 and it's a 15 minute job to change one.

Remove 4x bolts on the seat rails, tilt backward. Underneath you'll see a black plastic cover with some pop in trim clips on (iirc there's 2). Remove those and remove the cover then hey presto, just unplug and swap the seat ECU over.

Might be trying anyway, as it's quick and relatively cheap? 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Thanks for that guys. I'll try the fuses again just in case when i get time. They only stopped working when i fitted the deployable sidesteps, and another thing I'm going to try when i get time is to swap over the plugs from the steps back to the ECU under the fusebox and see how that works. If not I'll go down the new ECU under the seat route. Nice to know they are cheap.
