Have called everyone today, no joy, I can't believe an old car is stuck for a tiny part.... just as well I have an A4 convertible to tow my horsebox

Ross I bought a pair for my 2007 from Maltings 4x4 back in March who had them in stock and they were delivered the next day.

The list says they're the same on all L322s - If you're stuck, I still have the old ones which from memory aren't in bad condition and with a wire brush and some paint would be perfectly serviceable. If you want them they're yours, just let me know so I can dig them out.

Not much at any time. My handbrake has never really worked anyway. I recently replaced the discs, pads, and shoes. Didn't make any difference to handbrake efficacy. Ron B. VK2OTC

Just a thought, could you not take the old one to a metal fabricator for them to weld plates in & recut the retaining hole for the pins?

Guys , its been 4 months now for a brake shield, I have sourced 2 from the interweb and both not right, we even bought a 7.5T but on the day she broke her leg !! Been a strange few months, wanted a 405 anyway, have bought Gunning's from this parish, arriving Friday

2011 will be up for sale, £3500 spent this service, any interest would be appreciated
