I have just bought an Echo Auto on a Prime day deal at £19.99, down from £49.99. It works just fine on my 2011 Vogue, and adds extra functionality to the audio system. the Echo Auto is a small device not much bigger than a matchbox, and comes with an air vent mount, in-car power adaptor, micro-USB cable (1 m), 3.5 mm auxiliary audio cable. It pairs via bluetooth to your phone. I mounted mine on the air vent for the rear seat just behind the centre console, and using the adjacent cigarette lighter socket and aux audio socket to connect. After set up using the Alexa app on my phone, it all works flawlessly through the car audio by selecting AUX.
This means you can listen to audible books, podcasts, music services etc along with all the usual Alexa skills.
