Passenger Compartment Fuse Box Oddity - Identification help

Hi all,

I am a new (and newly frustrated) owner of a '58 plate 3.6 TDV8.

Second night of ownership the battery went flat so, while it's on a charger, I'm having a poke around to see if I can see anything obviously wrong/unusual.

My definition of unusual, at the moment, is something that the owners manual cannot explain. I opened up the fusebox in the passenger compartment and saw this .....

Anyone got an idea what that is covering the first four fuses?

Thanks

Will.

That's a jumper/piggy back fuse used to allow a feed to an additional accessory like a dash cam for instance. if you have a drain on your 3.6 then I'd be looking to see if that is staying live when you lock the FF....

Plenty of help on here, just use the search for power drains

Well, there's good news and bad news ....

The good news, you were right. It was a connection for a dash cam. So I removed it and put back the original 5amp fuse.

The bad news is that now the ignition key won't turn.

EDIT: OK, turns now after pulling the relevant fuses and waiting a while. I must say, so far I'm not having great fun in my RR ownership journey. I've had TVRs and they're more reliable Wink

Were you using the Bluetooth handsfree on a call when you stopped, they have a fault where they keep switched on even after you switch off and lockup... Pete
