Oil change

Good afternoon all
I was looking at doing an oil change on my 2012 4.4 TDV8, but when i went to take the top off the oil suction pipe it turns and comes up but wont come off.
It seems the hole thing wonts to come off so i didn't want to fours it and brake it Rolling Eyes .
Any input please or do you just pull it off?

Many thanks

Normally you push down, twist as per the arrows on the cap and pull up 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

Maybe someone has been too heavy handed with it. Maybe take it to Craig at Cam Tech for a look see. He's on here Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"
