Disable alarm for ferry trip.

When I went to the IOW the other week the alarm was going off all the way across ( as it was on other cars) but it was only a short journey so wasn’t a big issue but when I’m off to Ireland later this month I don’t want a flat battery at the other end - is there any way to lock temporarily disable the alarm but still lock the car? 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

It does say TDV8 and not SDV8, it is in the L322 sub forum but I’ve updated my signature to avoid any future confusion. Embarassed 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
