I've got one part that I'm trying to source for my 2007 4.2 Supercharged but am having problems locating it.

On the front of the cylinder heads there is a metal dowel that sticks out and the timing chain guide locates onto it. It's pictured in the parts list but doesn't have a reference number beside it.

I know it's not listed for your engine but does LXU100050 look anything like it?

Having copied and enlarged the spares pic you posted, when you look at the details, all obvious threaded parts are colour coded / detailed in the threaded area, whilst that pin is not. The engineer part of me thinks that you are correct and that this is an 'interference fit' pin.

The only other alternative to mind is that this is a 'Spring pin' or so called 'C lock pin' ( There several names ) Basically a hollow pin with a slot cut in the entire length of the pin, and made of spring steel, very commonly used as dowel pins in various applications.

This is definitely a solid pin as I’ve tried to extract it from the old cylinder heads.

I’ve just ordered a length of 6mm silver steel tonight to turn a couple of them. Now I’ve got the steel arriving I’ll be a bit more brutal trying to remove one of the old ones so that I can measure it.

I bought the silver steel to do the dowels last night but have been speaking to Automotive Comp in North Wales who are doing my valve clearances. They're going to make 2 dowels and fit them to the heads for me before I collect them

One job less for me to do when I get them home.
