Need to be reset by a diagnostic tool. Normally I just use my IID tool to reset the steering angle sensor. As said, make sure it's on flat ground and the wheels are straight.

yes, but how do you reset it, how do you proceed RR 2005 4.4 petrol

Car on level ground, wheels straight, ignition on and then choose the option from the the menu on the IID tool. I think it's under the Service/Test menu.
