last thursday put the beast in the workshop to do the only panel that was left to do the bonnet had some stone chips etc not to bad , so a da off mask up spot prime 2 coats of java black base and 3 coats of 2k clear coat . went in on saturday and flatted the clear coat with 2000 wet flat and mixed a further half ltr of clear coat and 3 more coats . i did try to take a picture of the nice flat finish not like the orange peel finish you get today on most cars but as you can see all i got was a mirror finish of my spray bay ceiling . just fitted new chrome badge must say she is looking the dogs testicles .


also i would like to add i know that my spelling could do with a little improvement sometimes but i can not be talented in every aspect new vehicle purchase

That's a skill to be proud of. Last time I saw a mirror finish like that was in a Norwegian snow-melt 'lake'.

Ha! I bet it was - I can TIG weld most things but I've always struggled with certain stainless grades, just one of those things I guess, I do my best but like your skill with paint and lacquer, it can't be explained in a way that anyone can do it and is, or should be, valued by those that can't.
