No air conditioning!

Hi,

This morning my airco doesn’t work and there is no ventilation.
I have a l322 5.0 supercharged.
Any idea what I should check first ?

Thank you

Cedric.

So what doesn't work exactly, the whole unit? air comes out but warm? no air?

Be as descriptive as you can... Pete

There is no ventilation at all (no air coming out). Even when I push the “max air co” button.

I’ll try that when back home. I don’t want to risk a breakdown when away from home.

Turn off ignition, take keys out
Wait 20mins
disconnect neg terminal, then disconnect pos terminal
touch both terminal together
reconnect pos first then neg...

See if that works... Thumbs Up Pete

I am not an expert, but If the above does not work then - Do not take as gospel, check first -

Fusebox in passenger compartment, should be fuse number 34 for 'Air Conditioning, Blower, Heated Windshield' Taken from l322 list of fuses and relays ( 2002 to 2012 )

Fuse No 64 ( Heater blower motor – front )

Climate control panel fault, as all functions of the climate control are operated through a PCB built into the control panel, not 100% sure about 2010 to 2012, but I think this is the case.

Multi stage resistor ( Hedgehog ) fault

Hope this helps
