2010 L322 Wiring Diagram - Glove Box Latch And Button

Hi,

I know that there is a wiring diagram in the Wiki but I think it's for earlier vehicles.

Does anyone have, or know where I might find, a wiring diagram for a 2010 L322, specifically for the (upper) glove box latch & button please?

I'm going to retrofit a venture cam and have acquired an upper glovebox with venturecam dock and (another) venturecam. I haven't actually unpacked it yet but presumably if I want to open it (before I have the dash in bits to fit) that I'll need to put power on the pins for the latch solenoid, hence needing a wiring diagram.

It may be a while till I take the dash apart to fit it all so I'd like to open the glovebox before that point so I can replace the camera batteries.

Many thanks in advance...

Turns out there's only two wires into the latch and helpfully, they're red & black.

A couple of dupont cables to reach the pins and then touched the other end to a battery charger & voila.

The latching of the venture cam dock is broken but I had a spare dock. When you dont know the trick (pull out what appears to be the wrong end first) getting the dock out of the glovebox is a puzzle haha.

Will shortly have an L322 glovebox (black cover) & a venture cam dock (with broken latching) going cheap if anyone needs either. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

Primarily because it's all standard to the vehicle & it will get limited use anyway. I would imagine not much beyond occasionally hooking up a trailer on my own (when I get round to fitting the tow-bar that's currently decorating my hall). 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

The story so far;

Glovebox bits are swapped, that's in now but when I came in for a quick cuppa I have a feeling I didn't connect cd changer, so hoping I can reach that from underneath. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

The CD changer plug (which I had left unplugged Embarassed ) can be reached from underneath thankfully.

It's all back together (apart from the a-pillar trim as I have a wire to route down there for a dashcam), CCF is edited to add the camera & dock. The wiring was indeed there but the plugs were very well hidden under a layer of fabric loom tape. I found I had to unwrap the cables further to have any hope of attaching them, even at the maximum length available its very tight to get access to get the plugs in.

Will be at the office tomorrow so will see if the run-out for an hour will put any life into the camera before I order batteries. 2010 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black
