I got a puncture but in the sidewall so new tyre was required . But then I thought what about that trolley jack you bought, what about that torque wrench you bought. what about that wheel fitting gadget you bought from miggit (is he still around), what about the air gun and what about the set of wheels and tyres languishing at the back of the garage. So I fitted them I have to say at my age the gadgets made it possible rather than easy and of course I will get my turbines refurbed and new tyres purchased ASAP although I think I may like the "new" wheels more.

I don't know what they are but they look cool. However the tyres will all need replacing soon if I decide to keep them on, they are legal at the moment but the MOT is due in November Geoff |

Yes, definitely agree and I have Turbines 😊 perhaps the silver wheels suit a lighter coloured car more than the turbines with the dark accents. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17 |

They appear to be just the alloy but polished somehow, definitely not chromed or painted. Geoff |

I've been thinking - dangerous I know - but the car obviously came with 5 turbines (full size spare) if I kept the shiny wheels I can keep a turbine in the boot as a spare but if I used it I would have to get the shiny wheel/tyre fixed immediately or they would not match. I assume any old tyre will do on the spare (so long at is the right size and load) as its only going to be used to "get me home". Geoff |

..or a space saver or a standard 20'' [255 55 20]...those will get you home at a reduced speed of course.. ... - .- -.
