Can they add middle lane hogging to the list of offences. Also A-hole parking, we have people round here who park on junctions, drop friends off on roundabouts or completely block the pavement.

I would guess that you could opt to go to court (as with current speeding fines), which would result in the same situation as before the change? If you felt that the offence had not been comitted then you could thrash it out in court?

Bearing in mind most traffic cars are fitted with cameras and a Range Rover is not hard to spot when being driven like an idiot (as was pointed out to me!), I think you would find it hard to contest tbh. Land Rover Addict

I see one every working day The issue will be: for a first offence you'll be offered a course to line the pockets of the ex-police managements private companies offering the education.

IIRC it's a fixed penalty for operating a mobile phone when driving, but rarely a day goes by without seeing someone on the phone behind the wheel, so I can't sees the new changes making much of a difference to the number of idiots driving like .

Who cares? Don't drive like an idiot and you'll never have issues with it.

One of the main reasons I drive a RR is for the safety it offers me and my loved ones, especially given the number of utter c0cks on the road these days. As said above, no sign of a rozzer when you actually need one so no reason to expect this new statue to be anything other than a toothless tiger anyway.
