Anyone have a good company offering comprehensive insurance in France as opposed to legal requirements ? |

I just asked my existing company (DirectLine) to extend my extend my existing cover to fully comp for France. They provided the minimum cover as part of the policy. Think it cost just over £30

I've been with SAGA for a few years now for exactly the reasons above - 365 day cover for Europe.

Isn’t it always comprehensive???? Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

No - some companies only provide third party as standard. Usually when bundled and 'free' as part of a policy rather than specifically selected and paid for, but even then.....

Saga sounds the way to go have you any experience of claiming ? Went over and back using Flexi plus but in all honesty it was quiet so maybe not needed |

I had 1 claim with SAGA when hit by a loon in Corfu, who felt my side of the road was preferable to his.

Interestingly I had a reply from Admiral saying my cover was fully comprehensive in France and was covered for 90 days but could be increased by another 12 weeks with no extra charge. Even although their policy doc states minimum cover. So worth checking |
