Gaz, I was aware that the 2009 Westminster was there, but earlier models weren't! I was just trying to have a more complete wiki! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior

Pretty certain the WIKI is right in the UK there was a 2005 35th Anniversary version and of course Autobiography versions but Westminsters were either pre-2002 or 2009 models. My info has been confirmed by CAP/Parkers but please let me/they know if you have additional information..... Second generation (1994—2001) Range Rover Westminster This was available in either silver or grey paintwork different from the usual paintwork of those colours available and grey tinted alloys. The interior was available in "Westminster Grey" leather upholstery with black piping, light grey poplar wood interior, and further colour coordination to the carpets and ceiling. 400 Range Rover Westminsters were produced; 200 4.6 litre petrol models and 200 2.5 litre diesel models. |

yes, in the USA! 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2008 I guess the wiki should also have those in order to be more complete! 2004 Special Editions In the US market, the limited "Westminster" edition was introduced. It cost approx $84,000 (including destination charges) and was the first 2004 Range Rover shown to the public (at the NY Auto Show). Land Rover produced 300 of the vehicles. Westminsters all have Java Black exterior paint. The model has the same black "grand ebony" (jet "piano" black -- "similar to that seen on the finest grand pianos") wood that was first seen on the 2002 Westminster Edition of the previous P38 Range Rover. Jet Black leather interiors with more leather covered surfaces, deep cut pile carpeting, and the deep pile leather Contour seats from last year's Oxford Edition (see official press photo at right). The only features in the interior not in Jet Black were the ivory headliner and grab handles. The Westminster also introduced Rain Sensor windshield wipers that activate automatically when water is detected, and an integrated cargo area luggage net. They all had the seven spoke 20" Alloy Wheels (vs. the standard six spoke 19" wheels). The Westminster has a silver rectangle "Westminster" badge on the back where other models had the "HSE" logo. 2005 Special Editions Westminster Edition: The limited "Westminster" edition was continued from 2004, with Java Black pearlescent paint and 20-inch bright alloy wheels (see photos on 2004 page). A silver WESTMINSTER badge on the tailgate identified the vehicle as one of only 300 to be built in Java Black. The interior used wood "similar to that seen on the finest grand pianos", along with supple Jet Black leather and deep cut pile carpeting. The only features in the interior not in Jet Black were the ivory headliner and grab handles. All Westminster models had the "heated accessory package". The Westminster also introduced Rain Sensor windshield wipers that activate automatically when water is detected, and an integrated cargo area luggage net 2006 Special Editions The 2006 Westminster edition is exclusive in that only 300 are produced, making these vehicles highly coveted. The Westminster name was originally launched as a Limited Edition in 2001 on Range Rover and was inspired by the very limited UK-based Linley Edition. Consistent with the theme of the original, the 2006 Westminster Package features a high level of interior luxury.
THE FEATURES The 2006 Range Rover Westminster Package is only available on the Supercharged model and features the following additional luxury items: Westminster Package Contour seats with Windsor leather outer panels and Alcantara center panels Ivory seat piping Extended leather coverage on: full dashboard - including upper, middle and lower areas glovebox center console sides Unique exterior 'Westminster'badging on rear tailgate Numbered 'Westminster'badge on the driver's side dashboard (1 of 300, 2 of 300, etc.) Unique "Supercharged" polished door sill plates Set of 4 Land Rover logoed rubber floormats Westminster units will also be equipped with the Rear Seat Entertainment and Satellite Radio options. 2008 Special Editions Westminster Edition:
In the US market the Westrminster Edition of 500 vehicles was a Supercharged model with the following cosmetic upgrades: Westminster badging on tailgate ("hand polished") and door sill plates Two-tone leather seats (black with tan inserts and piping) Matching floor mats with tan leather edging Hand polished "Lined Oak Anthracite" wood trim including gearshift knob Several other features that are available as options on the regular models were included on the Westminster edition: 20 inch 7 spoke alloy wheels (these could be ordered as options on the regular model) Four zone climate control Rear seat entertainment system with twin 6.5 inch rear screens and 6-disc DVD changer IR blocking windshield and front side glass. I hope I'm correct! 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior 2006 Range Rover Westminster Java Black Last edited by 3R10 on 9th May 2011 10:02pm. Edited 1 time in total |

That's a little racist, isn't it? I know the sites members are mostly from the UK, but I guess the wiki should be complete... 2000 BMW M5, Avus Blue/LeMans Leather Interior 2006 Range Rover Westminster Java Black Last edited by 3R10 on 9th May 2011 10:05pm. Edited 1 time in total |

And they're a bit of a bu**er to insure as I found out when I looked at one recently. Not a Vogue, nor quite a Vogue SE but somewhere in between with a couple of weirdy bits like alloys. Was a 2009 Westminster with deployables and a wood/leather wheel. Other than that and the wheels it was basically a Vogue. Still a very nice place to be though |
