Stan, This appears to be the current situation from the French side https://uk.ambafrance.org/COVID19-Conditio...oyaume-Uni

In French, of course, but it does say that since 31 March 2022 UK is on the green list and no need for attestations but you need to be vaccinated with proof.

At the end it says contact your travel company for the up to date situation. Very Happy

I live in France and came back just last week from a brief visit to the UK.

I brought proof of vaccination and the French attestation du honour (basically declaring I haven’t been in contact with anyone Covid etc).

Neither were asked for or checked. Some people offered them to the passport people but they just shook their heads and didn’t look at them.

@John, web site bookmarked thank you....it appears that only un-vaccinated peeps need paperwork and tests, whereas the 2 jabs plus booster are ok.
if asked i'm sure the covid pass on the NHS app should suffice.

@Phillip, thats reassuring to know, thanks. ... - .- -.

Currently nothing required if fully jabbed. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Best bit is the French have reduced the tax on diesel/petrol by 0.18cents per L Since Spril 1. No not an April fool! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. When I was there last month you needed to download their Covid app to get access to restaurants and bars, but was only asked for it twice in the week I was there.

Thats right, but all that is gone now.

Masks are only required in health service areas (doctors, pharmacies etc)

I have been back and forth on the shuttle a few times recently. I suggest printing off the ‘international’ travel version of your Covid pass, rather than trying to use the app version (as nobody seems to accept that).

Other than that, just upload the paperwork that Eurotunnel ask you to, which I think is vaccination certificate and French declaration d’honneur (if they still use that) Then it’s plain sailing.

At Folkestone in early March, French passport control spotted a Russian stamp (from 2019) in my colleagues passport, so being belligerently French they made us park up for 30 minutes so we missed our booked shuttle, then sent us on to catch the next one.

Eurotunnel have pretty clear instructions on what;'s needed for vaccinated vs unvaccinated -

https://www.eurotunnel.com/uk/travelling-w...d-19/#foca

NHS pass will work, but requires connectivity. I found it easier to download Tous AntiCovid (the official French equivalent) and then add the QR code to that. It stores it of 30 days.

The French have changed the specs of what is vaccinated recently.

Basically if you have had 2 vaccine shots and your last was less than 9 months ago 👍🏻

If your last of 2 shots was more than 9 months ago 👎🏻

If you have had 2 and your last was more than 9 months and you have had a booster then 👍🏻 There is currently no 9 month expiry on the booster.

Kids under 18 need to have had 2 jabs, but the booster rule doesn’t apply.

Kids under 12 are exempt from the regulation in its entirety. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
