Head Up Display Noise - Is this normal?

Since collecting my new (to me) 66 plate Range Rover Autobiography on Saturday, I've noticed that the Head Up Display makes a noise which is slightly noticeable while on the move and definitely once engine switched off.

I have attached a video clip below - Please can anyone tell me, is this normal? and if not, what is it likely to be?

Many thanks

That's not right, I had Head up display on my last car, totally silent so something is def wrong with yours.

100% something wrong there. Shocked

It’s sounds like a cooling fan bearing or the fan vanes hitting something, but I agree with AndyS, I too had head up display and it was totally silent.

Have you got the facility to turn HUD off? If you have might be worth turning off and see if sound is still there but best bet is straight back to dealers to sort.

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Thanks Lyonhead - Yes I've switched Head Up Display off in settings, then the noise completely goes, so definitely that which is causing the problem

I am aware this is a very old thread but I am having a similar issue/noise. Was there a resolution and what was the issue?
