Small fan belt how to fit

As my small fan belt snapped and took the big one with it I’m replacing all belts idlers etc but I’m unsure how to fit the fan belt as it’s a stretch fit, I’ve seen mention of a special tool but is there another way or different tools anyone can recommend before I start on Saturday 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8

I and at least 1 other person has clamped the belt to the pulley at its 1st contact point (about 2-oclock IIRC) using a small piece of wood and a small G-clamp then turned the crankshaft using a socket.

There is a special tool to fit, along with various generic stretch belt tools Thumbs Up

Can be done without but is a bit of a faff
