Not had any experience with EE but whenever I've gone to top up a 12/24mth data SIM card from Three it's been way cheaper just to buy a new SIM than top up the old one. As they're data SIM's I don't care about keeping the same mobile number.

amazon and ebay have 24 month data sims for around £30'ish.. ... - .- -.
