Definitely shades of the grey market that’s going on in Rolex land these days, and AP and Patek. Rolex make potential buyers jump through hoops to even “express an interest “ and yet there’s a never ending supply of stock heading that way, at way over RRP, so something’s going on to feed this supply.
So, the question is 2fold.

1. Have JLR endorsed this in some way to test the market, or

2. Is some lucky buyer doing a deal with the auction house to split the profit?

If it’s like Rolex situation, I doubt option (1) is likely and if it’s option (2), the buyer will almost certainly be blacklisted but will they care? I think not.

I should add that the “contracts” that people were asked to sign, weren’t worth the paper they were printed on, so that’s not a deterrent. .

Yep, Rolex pricing is crazy just now. A few weeks ago, I sold my Daytona for three times what I paid for it new in 2010. No longer a mugging target!

None of the below, I'd say.

CC is a phenomenon, growing super fast, been the place where more Singers, for example, have sold than anywhere else.

Vendor/car owner doesn't pay anything, buyer does (max £6k). Can't imagine that JLR would remotely find itself in the position of, say PCGB and the OPCs in effectively saying that you if flip a GT car, you won't get another.

I didn't know anything about this crocs - Have used Rolex prices been going up and is stock very scarce?

Have all Rolex gone up, or is it just certain models?

Whatever the end price, it's worth it for these flip-out curry hooks, one each side! Surprised

Who's going to be the first to retro-fit these into an L405 Cool

Not sure I'd trust those cheap plastic / paper bags my local Indian provides - Could get messy if the journey back is down twisty country lanes Smile

I can't believe anyone would contemplate carrying a takeaway (of any type) home in their car!! The next day smell would be bad enough, let alone the thought of spillage..... Laughing MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

there should be some kind of 'strap' system on the passenger seat so you can use the heated seat function to keep the takeaway food warm..
