Deleting / removing the upper glove box cd player

Hiya all,

I would like to get rid of the CD player in the upper glove box,
I never use it and would like the space back.

Physically removing it isn’t the problem.. I seem to remember when I was fitting my navi plus system that if its not wired in the whole system doesn’t work, so I was wondering if there is a bypas gizmo available that would kid the system into thinking its there ?
